  NOW FOR SOMETHING REALLY DIFFERENT...

Honestly, it took us a little while to work out just what the hell this particular press release was trying to sell, but woes betide us when we eventually worked it out.

New to the scene, and winners of Max Power Denmark’s International New Products award, SteedSpeed is offering up to the market this very trick inline sleeve blow-off valve. Yes, you heard right. You actually slip this puppy in between your turbo plumbing.

Its design allows it to be placed in super-tight locations, and it offers superior flow due to the fact its ports extend the entire circumference of the pipe.

Available in sizes 2in to 4in, installation uses high-quality O-rings for a tight fit, with excess pressure vented by the ring-shaped piston surround. It also looks rather stealthy, and really, we think the po-po would be hard-pressed to detect it at all.

Continuing aboard the weird train, SteedSpeed is also manufacturing a series of visually unique turbo manifolds for most Honda engines. Their bizarre looks apparently provide a short, direct route for exhaust impulses and thus, quicker spool with minimal loss of bottom end.

It all looks and sounds good, so let’s hope we here more from these guys in the future.
