Yep, you read correctly, the new Skyline GT-R is almost-certainly going to go into production shortly. The photos you see here on this page are spy shots of the new GT-R being tested on the road (the Nurburgring specifically), courtesy of www.leftlanenews.com. By the looks of things, it hasn’t changed visually from the concept photos that Nissan released during 2005. Nissan also said that it would go into production during 2007, which is good, because we can’t wait any longer to see this baby on the streets. Despite what Nissan has told the public about the new GT-R, they haven’t mentioned what powerplant it will have. Rumours about a V8 have been floating around, but we hope that they stick to their twin-turbocharged straight-six formula. Hang in there guys, with 2007 just around the corner, the new GT-R will be on sale shortly, and hopefully it will be sold here. Fingers crossed!
