The Safari Tasmania event was held this year on the 15th and 16th of July and featured WRXs, Lancer Evos, Corollas and Focuses among others.
The cars raced on the southern forests near Geeveston, which constitutes what could be called the perfect rally environ.
It was a tough and fierce battle, but in the end, Dean Herridge and Bill Hayes took it out it, racing in a Subaru Spec-C.
Coming second was Simon and Sue Evans in the TRD Corolla, and in third place was Neil Bates and Coral Taylor, also in a TRD Corolla. Even better, the event was more or less incident-free.
